Ian Bell has a strong viticultural and vineyard management background. This foundation has been set from 16 years working with Keith and clare Mugford of Moss Wood Winery Margaret River. In 1987 Ian studied viticulture at Roseworthy College, South Australia.  He rejoined Moss Wood in 1989 and worked his way up to Vineyard Manager then Production Manager and Senior Winemaker.
Ian prefers more traditional wine making methods such as open ferments and wild yeast.

 

 

South Australian born Bob Cartwright began his career in the Barossa Valley at Kaiser Stuhl in 1963, after 2 years practical experience studied at Roseworthy College graduating in 1967. Bob relocated to WA taking a position at Valencia wines then Houghton as Winemaker. He then joined Leeuwin Estate for their first vintage Bob remained with Leeuwin Estate for 28 vintages as Senior Winemaker making Australia’s finest Chardonnay the Leeuwin Art Series.






Jeremy Gordon started his career in WA before moving to the eastern states to broaden his winemaking knowledge and skill.  On his return he spent many years with Evans and Tate and Houghton where became familiar with some of Margaret River most dedicated growers.
Jeremy’s philosophy to winemaking is to make wine that express the quality of the fruit sourced and find the right balance between flavour and structure.
