Chenin Blanc with immense cellaring potential is what Marri Wood Park are well known for, and this is another stunning vintage.

This single vineyard site slopes to the north-west on gravelly, well-drained loamy soil. As is our custom, the vines received no irrigation or fertilisers, producing what we think are tight, intense flavours. The earliest vintage on record began in January 2024, driven by exceptionally hot and dry conditions from late October 2023. Thanks to the abundant marri wood blossom, bird damage was minimal. In terms of taste, all the wines from this year show great promise, offering rich and robust flavors.

Elegant and refined, this Chenin Blanc balances bright acidity with a gentle phenolic grip for a textured, complex palate. Vibrant lemon and pithy rind lead to hints of clove, finishing with a touch of lemon meringue. A slight saline note and lingering finish suggest excellent ageing potential.
