Chenin Blanc is an exceptional white wine grape that can be crafted into a variety of styles, from dry to sweet to sparkling. Despite its versatility, it often doesn't receive the recognition it deserves. Originating from the Loire Valley in France, this grape was once the predominant choice in California, even surpassing Chardonnay in popularity. Initially, it was undervalued due to its use in bulk wines but has since made a remarkable resurgence. Chenin Blanc is a vibrant varietal with a robust body, excellent acidity, and lively flavours.
