An elegant offering for the first biodynamic Cabernet Merlot blend from the Marri Wood Park stable.

This classic Margaret River blend is a luminous deep-hued garnet in the glass, with pretty blackberry, plum and some cedar wood notes on the nose. 

On the palate, an initial flash of more of the sweet herbal and cedar notes leads to mouth-pleasing dark fruit flavours of bramble, blueberry and blackberry. Velvety tannins are beautifully balanced by juicy acid, wrapped up in a delightfully lingering finish.

Medium to full bodied, ripe black fruits are entwined by fine granular tannins and layer of savoury elements, notes of tobacco leaf, black olive tapenade and a hint of seaside. Good length and persistence; the weight stays consistent from entry to the long end."
