New Release Wines
We have two new release vintages joining the line-up of wines at Marri Wood Park.
The highly anticipated 2024 Chenin Blanc has just landed.
Each year, our still Chenin Blanc white wine, sells out. It is a hallmark wine of Marri Wood Park, and the defining varietal of our winery’s establishment here in Yallingup, Western Australia.
It was in 1992 that Marri Wood Park founder Julian Wright had a bold vision of creating a bone-dry, barrel-fermented, age-worthy Chenin. More than 30 years later, our biodynamic Chenin Blanc is by far the most awarded and regarded wine of Marri Wood Park.
The 2024 vintage was the earliest starting and quickest finishing vintage on record, with large amounts of marri wood blossom present around the vineyard. Our barrel-fermented Chenin Blanc was picked on the 22nd and 29th of January in 2024. It spent about nine months maturing in barrel and was bottled in early 2025.
You can expect to see the same luminous pale, gold hue of the wine this year, accompanied by bright, fresh and lifted notes.
We can also reveal that the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is coming soon to the tasting menu at the Cellar Door in the Margaret River Wine Region.
Hailing from the same early vintage as the Chenin, the Sauvignon Blanc was picked on the 29th of January and 2nd of February in 2024. In the glass - this wine is going to showcase beautiful stone fruits, cut grass, green apple and a touch of flint.
Off the back of a highly awarded 2023 Sauvignon Blanc (and don’t forget, it was the 'serious' Sav Blanc that was hailed as changing Nick Ryan’s mind) – we are eagerly awaiting to see the reaction to the 2024 iteration.
Check your Wine Butler selections soon to be sure you get your hands on these new wines.
